I was really apprehensive about selling on EBay but I had a Darth Vader Cake Pan from the 1980's that I thought someone would pay good money for. I had some issues though, especially about how I would get my money. I had heard of others EBay selling but I didn't actually know anyone that had done it. I guess it was time to get educated.
First, I went to the EBay website and I started researching selling on EBay by clicking on the top right hand side where it said "Sell". The pull down menu had a few choices:
- Sell an Item
- Getting Started
- What to Sell
- Sellers ToolsShipping Center
I went to "Getting Started" first. Here they provide a "Sell your item Checklist" from this page. This was very helpful when I was first considering EBay selling. It was broken into three parts that were easy to follow. If you are new to EBay selling, start with this list. It explains everything, including the payment methods, pricing, how to describe your items condition, and shipping to name just a few.
